Santa PICsU Disclosures
Santa PICsU is registered as an Ohio corporation having been formed May 18, 2016 and is a charitable non-profit organization under IRC 501(c)(3). Our primary purpose is to provide financial support through gifts, grants and other monetary support to Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, its patients, families and staff. We raise funds through events that we stage or sponsor, private donations from individuals and companies that care about seeing to the needs of children who are desperately sick or injured. Santa PICsU is administered by a Board of Directors and is advised by the staff of Akron Children’s Hospital. We work in conjunction with the staff to identify those patients and families in need or just could use a gift that would brighten their day. The Board reserves the right to determine the use of funds donated to support the mission of Santa PICsU unless specifically designated by the donors.
Santa PICsU is registered with the Internal Revenue Service and the Attorney General of the State of Ohio. Further information about our organization can be seen on those web sites. We have made available our Articles of Incorporation, Corporate Code of Regulations and our IRS Determination Letter. Annually we file a Form 990 with the IRS and this is available to the public as well through the IRS web site. We may however provide contact information to organizations or people who help us organize and operate our own events.
We may from time to time contact our supporters to obtain feedback via surveys or other communications and of course we would contact them to advise of our upcoming events or recent good news. Any feedback provided will become the property of SantaPICsU. If you do not wish to receive mailings, notices, emails or text messages from our organization, please contact us and we will remove you from our distribution list. However, you may still receive communications confirming any donation you make to SantaPICsU. We will maintain historical records in order to comply with laws or tax regulations as necessary.
Within our website, we may provide links to other third-party sites for your reference. We do not control these websites and do not endorse their content or take any responsibility for their security, content or privacy policies. We also will be providing payment options on our website through PayPal. Any payment transaction you initiate via PayPal will be subject to the applicable PayPal terms and conditions.
